These structures were conceived through a process I call design contingent on material waste able to be procured. Through this method I was able to build for virtually free. The building of these structures made me aware of a contradictory phenomemon in the built environment: material waste is precious yet it is also abundant. What happens when we explore this phenomenon to the fullest extent?
